Winter Wonderland

Location: Hyde Park, London
Scope: Bespoke timber frames for games and event stalls
Built: In-house, UK workshop
Install: On site, to event build-in schedule

PDC built bespoke timber frames for games and event stalls at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, one of London's biggest seasonal events. Each frame was made in-house at our UK workshop, then delivered and installed on site to fit tight build-in schedules and heavy daily footfall.

I've kept it general so nothing is overstated. If you can share specifics, like the number of stalls, how long the build took, or whether the frames are reused each year, adding one of those to the brief would make it more convincing and give Google more detail to rank.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is one of London's largest seasonal events, drawing huge crowds through the winter months. PDC designed and built bespoke timber frames for a range of games and event stalls across the site, each needing to look the part, stand up to constant public use and go up quickly within a tight build-in window. Every frame was made in-house at our UK workshop, where each structure could be cut, assembled and checked before reaching the park, keeping quality consistent across every stall. Frames were tailored to each game's layout and theming, with sturdy counters, roof structures and fixing points for signage, lighting and decoration. Once delivered, they were installed on site alongside the other trades working to the event's schedule, with prefabrication keeping on-site work and disruption to a minimum. The finished stalls gave operators a solid, safe base built to handle heavy daily footfall and winter weather, and because they're designed to be dismantled, stored and reused, they save time and cost on every season's build.
